ONLY IN AA MIGHT THE FOLLOWING ELICIT A LAUGH. B. R. of Alberta wrote about a sometime member of his AA group, a young man who's having one heck of a time trying to put together more than a week of sobriety. The last time he attended a meeting he was asked how he'd been doing. He confessed there was some good news and some bad news in his life. The good news was that that very morning he'd received a tax refund and a welfare check in the mail. The bad news was that he'd been rolled, thus his presence at the meeting.
