Ham on Wry

FROM S. S. OF NORWICH, CONN., COMES THE FOLLOWING: Two policemen were in their police cruiser discussing the habits of the average driver. The first cop said that every driver nowadays breaks the law every half mile he drives. The second policeman disagreed. To prove his point, the first suggested that they tail a random vehicle. They chose one and followed the unsuspecting motorist for half a mile, one mile, two, then three miles. All the while waiting for him to break the law. To their surprise the driver stopped at red lights, stop signs, followed the speed limit, etc., causing the first policeman to admit total astonishment. "We've followed this guy five miles and he hasn't done a thing wrong. I'm going to stop him just to congratulate him."
