A two-part article on the meaning and implications of our Third Legacy

"Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends upon AA unity." That's our First Tradition and first for a very good reason. But how many of us really see that word personal? How often do we see the manifold attitudes exhibited that say "Somebody else will take care of AA." Somebody else will make coffee, clean ashtrays, attend business meetings, talk to newspapers, schools, corrections officials, see that literature is available, or make sure our General Service Office has operating funds.
