Talking it out
This letter is to offer you hearty congratulations for printing the article entitled "Sunday Dinner" in the January 1987 Grapevine. In times past I have tried to mention my childhood issues with fellow members of AA and the typical response has been "Don't blame your problems on your parents," or "Your parents did the best job they knew how to do." I soon learned not to bring these subjects up with AAs, whether in a meeting or in private.
