Miracles Are Progressive

The alcoholic who turns his drinking problem over to a Higher Power and asks for the desire to drink to be removed may indeed be blessed by the actualization of this seemingly impossible task--no small feat for those of us who tried so many times to quit and miserably failed at the effort. How many people seeking a union with God through conventional avenues have been promptly relieved of a progressively fatal disease as we have in AA? That in itself is quite an introduction to a power greater than ourselves, and it is only the beginning of countless extraordinary events.
