Blue cows

When I was a young man with young children, I was given a gift. My son returned from school and proudly presented me with a picture he had done just for me. He beamed as I told him how much I liked it. "It's a cow," he said. I didn't tell him that his crayons went outside the lines, nor did I say that cows are not blue. It was a special gift, and needed to be acknowledged in a special way, which I did by attaching it with magnets to the refrigerator.
