Is Anonymity Outdated?

I used to rail against the Eleventh Tradition, used to insist it no longer made sense; I railed, and people listened. Then one night someone told me something I hadn't thought about, and I stopped railing: What if a person who's gone public about attendance at AA has a slip? What happens then?
