Bravo, bravo, for a number of things in the January 1987 issue. I owe this letter writing stint to the AA member from Israel, who commented that after reading the Grapevine, he felt a compulsion to write an article but humbly wondered what he had to offer. When he admitted his move to Israel made him realize that meetings were not always available, I could imagine myself in his shoes! I've attended meetings in Canada, Bermuda, and other states while vacationing (but what if they hadn't existed?).
