THIS OLDIE BUT GOODIE comes from P. G. of Raleigh, N.C.: Rose and Mary were two AA old-timers who were both quite concerned about whether or not they'd find AA when they reached the Promised Land. They made a pact that the first one to die would return on the anniversary of her death. Well, Rose died first, and sure enough exactly one year later she returned to Mary with the message dial she had both some good news and some bad news from heaven.
