More Alike than Different

Before I left the United States I had obtained an international meeting list from the General Service Office of AA. I was to visit Poland, Turkey, Egypt, and Israel. On my pocket calendar I mapped out the English-speaking meetings I would attend while overseas. But the list was dated 1986. It was compiled probably from lists that may have been older than that. So when I sought out the meetings on the list, I learned to my dismay they were not functioning.
