The most difficult aspect of the AA program for me has been "sharing." An AA friend says my favorite subject is "talking about not talking." People have said it has to do with ego and pride, but to me it is clearly fear. When I try to say anything, it seems unimportant and disconnected, as if I can't get my thoughts together. In my head it all makes perfect sense, but when I try to get it out of my mouth, it gets lost and confused.
