Teething terror

The article "Crayons, Cookies, and Kisses" in the September issue couldn't have come at a better time for me--in fact, the day after I had been asked to leave a meeting because my noisy, teething eight-month-old daughter couldn't be quiet that particular day. Boy, did I leave that meeting with a resentment--first at my baby daughter (how could she act like that, she's usually so well behaved at meetings), and then at the group (what right did they have to put someone out of the meeting), and then at the guy sitting right across the room (if only he'd moved his coffee cup out of her reach).
