My name is Bob and I am an alcoholic. I would like 1 to share with you a story about sponsorship. I was introduced to AA in September of 1970 in a small town in Northeast British Columbia. I had moved there on a geographical cure. I became the third member of our little AA group, and for six years I remained the "new boy." Occasionally an older member would move into town, or one of the local drunks would give us a look.
