The Clock Is Running

Eleven years ago, alcohol and drugs had ended their "golden period" for me. Only a year before, I had eaten chateaubriand in an elegant French restaurant on New Year's Eve, and returned to my seacoast apartment, tastefully located in an old New England residence, and enjoyed the challenge of coordinating an experimental nursing program in an urban setting.
