World Service Meeting Held In New York

From October 23 to 27, the Tenth World Service Meeting will be held at the Hotel Roosevelt in New York City, and will be comprised of 43 delegates from 24 countries. Rotating every two years between New York City and other locations around the world, the primary purpose of this meeting "is the same as that of all AA activity--to carry the message to the alcoholic who still suffers, wherever in the world he may be, whatever the language he speaks." This year the theme of the five-day meeting will be: "AA and its Responsibilities."
