I feel compelled to share my viewpoint on "outside" viewpoints. The editor's note on page 39 of the May 1989 issue says it all. I quote: "Of course, the Grapevine is, and remains, AA's meeting in print and will never be anything else." There is no doubt in my mind that the Grapevine editorial staff will always give top priority to AA contributors, but I do welcome "outside" viewpoints from time to time. After all, "The AA Grapevine, Inc. presents the experiences and opinions of AA members and others interested in the AA program."
