Keeping on Going
Step Twelve - Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these Steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
When I had been sober about six weeks a woman in my group telephoned and asked me to accompany her on a Twelfth Step call. I agreed, and turned to inform my nonalcoholic husband of this exciting development. His delight in my sobriety was, if possible, even greater than my own. "Twelfth Step," he mused, "That's the last one, isn't it? Does this mean you've graduated?"
