Only Love Has Meaning

I wish to share with other Grapevine readers my strength, hope, and experience concerning AA and another disease. I am your normal, run-of-the-mill recovering alcoholic with seven years sobriety. I am a white, heterosexual, twenty-eight-year-old woman. I am not a prostitute nor have I engaged in numerous sexual encounters. It is ironic that after years of acknowledging and accepting the fact that I am not unique, I have again been placed in a position of "terminal uniqueness."
