Attila the H. and Friends

During my years as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, I have observed a tendency among the Fellowship to define "service" through the somewhat myopic point of view that relates it only to serving the group. We--I say we because I have been guilty of this myself--tend to limit service to those necessary functions such as general service representative or intergroup representative. No one disputes the fact that these are truly service duties, very necessary to our survival. But is this where it ends? I think not.
