Adventures in anonymity

Whenever I come across an anonymity break at the public level, I always feel a certain sadness. Six years ago, when I hit my "bottom," I was the absolute and total center of my universe. I couldn't love anyone or care for anything or try to achieve anything except staying drunk. Since that time, as an ever-growing result of hundreds upon hundreds of sessions "around the table" with my fellow recovering alcoholics from all walks of life, my spirit has been revitalized beyond my wildest dreams because of the fact that I can now be an integral part of our dynamic principles. Who I am doesn't matter much. What I do is the difference between slavery and freedom.
