Ham on Wry
SO MANY SLIPS OF THE TONGUE and malapropisms comprise the humor of AA, that maybe the "Ham" of our column's title should also serve to mean Heard At Meetings. To wit, Stan H. of Clearlake, Calif, (funny state of the month) contributes: "When it came time for Step Six, the newcomer read aloud, 'were entirely ready to have God remove all these defective characters.'"
