On the August GV

Rarely do I write a letter of praise about anything I read in the Grapevine but. . .Thank you Gary R. of Fenton, Mich. ("Recovery Feels Better Than Feeling Good," August 1989). Never have I read an article that more accurately accesses problems other than alcohol, treatment centers, gay groups, etc. He was not overly judgmental. He offered no solution, other than his own. If you are concerned or alarmed about the changing atmosphere in the AA Fellowship these days, be sure to read this article. If you have read it, you may be tempted to go back and slowly read it again. What a beautiful assessment of the AA philosophy itself!
