On the August GV
The articles in the August Grapevine made me feel "uncomfortable." I'm a 31-year-old recovering alcoholic who has spent the last three years struggling with surrender and acceptance. My denial is insidious and subtle. Reading articles that imply that I'm not a real alcoholic because I went through treatment, am young, and had a relatively high bottom, bothers me.
