A Life Second to None

My name is Jason. I'm an alcoholic and a drug addict. My father is an alcoholic but was sober seven years when I was born. At the age of five, I was sexually abused by an uncle of mine, which I'm just starting to deal with now. Some of the experiences I've had with alcohol were not too pleasant. I picked up my first drink at my grandmother's 50th wedding anniversary when I was seven years old. I didn't drink again for about two years, but when I picked up my second drink, I liked the effect so much that I started drinking daily. Then I started using dope. My first drug was marijuana. At the age of twelve, I was drinking daily, drugging daily, stealing, cheating, and lying daily because that's what I had to do to get my drinks and drugs. I was arrested four times between the ages of twelve and thirteen for breaking and entering, and two times for possession of alcohol and drugs with intent to distribute. I was suspended from school three times for possession of marijuana.
