Putting Myself First
About fourteen months ago, I got out of my seven-week treatment center. I thought life was great. I was sober and my mother and I actually got along for the first time. I thought my life was going to go the way I wanted it to. I was in a relationship with someone who was using, and I got out of that as was suggested. I then got into a sober relationship because I thought that was okay. He had one a half years sobriety, and was such a power of example to me. He told me how to do things, and I did them because I thought that was right. And this is how it went for six months.
