A small investment
The following is a response to the letter "Motivated by money?" that appeared in the April 1989 issue, in response to the member, sober more than thirty years, who was "appalled" when a newcomer was denied admission to an AA convention because she did not have $10 for the registration fee. My question is--Did the older member ever consider treating the newcomer to the convention with a contribution from her own pocket?
