Selective sobriety

The primary purpose of Alcoholics Anonymous is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety. This ideal is as strong today as it was when AA first began. As shown by the growth of our Fellowship, we are achieving our purpose. The changes that we see are in the people, not in the program.
