Oddly enough, I'm writing to the Grapevine because I suggested that someone else write to the Grapevine. I told her that she was at a good time in sobriety to share her newfound experience. Then of course, as it usually happens, the newcomer turns to me and says, "Why am I in a good time in sobriety to write and you're not?" Wham! Right in the kisser! So after resenting the comment and trying to stuff it, here I am in my bedroom with pen and paper in hand--last resort--getting into action!
