The Least Among Us

I am not too concerned about the changes that AA is going through right now. That's because, while we engage in no public controversy, among ourselves we disagree all we want. Bill W. once said that what we fight about most in AA is who can do the most good, which is pretty funny when you think about it. Our power is in our openness. We don't care who you are. We aren't afraid you'll hurt us, no matter how different or troubled you may be. This was immensely reassuring to me in the beginning when I wasn't sure AA would accept the likes of me.
