No hiding from Hugo

I would like to share a little with you about our night of terror and the days that followed. My best friend Danny and I sat here in our apartment and rode out Hurricane Hugo together and it was an experience of a lifetime. 130 m.p.h. winds snapped trees, tore parts of the building off and shook the frame of our apartment. The rain and wind were unbelievable for hours and then the eye of the storm came in. We went outside and looked around at the trees--on top of cars and through people's homes--and could only say, thank God we were okay. Then the second half of the storm came through and it was more furious than the first!
