The Best Years of My Life

It was more than a miracle that the wonderful Fellowship of AA found me in the far Australian outback in 1966. I was the most lonely person in the world, homeless, jobless, penniless, and I didn't even have a brain to think with. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired and it was my honest desire to say good-bye to this silly world.
