No Secrets

We in Portugal are still struggling, and in fact, old-timers coming through say our meetings remind them of the old days in AA. I think one reason could be that the meetings are small and intimate, almost incestuous--we know everything about everybody. Even though there is a large turnover, when someone slips or leaves the rooms we feel a personal loss. Sometimes there are tremendous rows and the Traditions go out the window and personalities take over, but somehow or other everything falls back into its proper order and we are left a little wiser.
