ON THE ROAD AGAIN: JoAnn B., Houston, Tex., alleges that "Two state troopers cruising the highway observed a motorist driving with perfect adherence to the law--traveling at just the right speed, signaling when changing lanes, keeping the perfect distance from the cars in front, etc. The cops decided it might feel good if for once they commended someone for obeying the law, instead of just punishing those who broke it. They followed the saint off the exit and all the way home to his driveway, where they approached him and said, 'Sir, we've observed what a good, cautious driver you are, and want to congratulate you for setting such a good example.'
