Speaking up
Recently I had a spiritual experience in AA at my home group. It was an open speakers meeting with Al-Anons, Alateens, and babies present. In the first two minutes the out of state speaker had used three or four obscene four-letter words. I flinched with my darling wife of forty-eight years sitting beside me, just as she has for forty years in AA.
