Red Light, Green Light

I began studying to be a Roman Catholic priest at the age of eighteen. Except for the taste of wine at the family table on Christmas and Easter, I had never taken a drink. Three years into my studies, we were given access to beer during a party for Halloween. I drank too much and ended up running through a cornfield wearing my black seminarian's costume. I got all covered with corn pollen and discovered that I liked to drink. Four years later, I left my priestly studies.
