The Anecdote Bin
Dedicated to the lighter side of our common problem - From the October 1963 Grapevine
OUR CALIFORNIA EDITOR forwards a clipping from a Sunday supplement suggesting first-aid treatment for ailing house plants. "A fine healthy plant that seems to collapse overnight," the paragraph states, "has probably been fertilized or watered excessively. Or, someone may have emptied an alcoholic drink into the pot." Our correspondent says this is getting to the root of the matter. We can only add this goes for a lot of hosts we've known, too. Including us.
