A Lucky Kid

From the beginning I can remember loving the feeling it gave me--too much, I've come to find out. I grew up in the city and got in with the wrong crowd. My attitude toward my family began to change. I didn't want to be involved with family activities. Things I really used to enjoy, like seeing my relatives or sleeping over at my grandparents, were no longer important. I thought living was staying out as late as possible, drinking and doing drugs. I was sick right from the start. It was total self-will run riot.
