No Need to Be Alone

a deaf alcoholic finds AA

We are all "different" from other people, and that is what makes us alike. For me, I never knew what it was like not to be different. Born with a severe hearing impairment that slid into a profound hearing loss as the years went by, I had no trouble identifying with speakers who spoke about being "different" from other people.
