The Person I Am

I am writing in response to your request from minorities in AA. I am a Jewish recovering alcoholic and thus a member of a minority in AA and the United States. I was raised in an orthodox Jewish family with strong religious traditions, but I relinquished my faith about the time that I relinquished everything else as my disease progressed. I remember including my religion as one of the resentments on my first Fourth Step list.
