Reaching Out to AAs in Prison--A New Year's Resolution

When was the last time you needed a meeting and there was none available? The great majority of AA members can get to one or several meetings every week--perhaps with difficulty, but the meetings are there. For many alcoholics in correctional facilities, however, meetings are few and far between, or even nonexistent. The Corrections Correspondence Service offers a way for outside AAs to share their sobriety and take a meeting by mail to alcoholics behind bars.
