Getting Too Close to a Drunk?

Would you believe it? Some drunk had the nerve to come to our AA meeting--yes, a real, brown-baggin'-whiskey-smelling drunk. I was surprised, shocked, and a little uneasy when he sullenly slipped into the chair next to me and placed his bag full of empties on the floor. Why this bothered me I don't know. We're in the inner city and people show up drunk sometimes. What was I afraid of? Was this guy too drunk? "Too drunk." That was my denial telling me I was better than he was.
