Just Passing Through

I've been to hundreds of AA meetings, and once, when we joined hands at the end, I found myself holding hands on one side with a huge giant hand--one that could crush mine just by flinching--and on the other side with a small, fragile yet firm and steady hand. As we closed the meeting, I felt the power pass from one hand, through me, to the other huge and trembling hand which, at that moment, desperately needed strength.
