My name is Phyllis and I am an alcoholic. I have been an active and grateful member of AA for six years. During this period of time, however, on three different occasions I have found myself totally homebound and confined to my bed. The last bout I went through lasted six months. Believe me, there is just so much group members can do before the novelty of helping a bedridden alkie wears mighty thin.
