Just the Facts

I recently read an article in the Grapevine that left me confused and muddled, which is not the first time I have been baffled since slamming face first into the program. The writer seemed to imply that it was dangerous to tell newcomers things like get a sponsor, read the Big Book, do a Fourth and Fifth Step, and "get right with God," because it might scare them away.
