Children at meetings

As a single parent of two preschool boys, it can be difficult to get to as many meetings as I would like. In my area there are two meetings I know of where children are welcome, but they are women's meetings, and I am a man. Having been sober in AA since 1983, I seem to be able to get by for now with one or two meetings a week, but that never would have worked for me in my first year or two. I hope anyone reading this who later has an opportunity to help someone in such a situation will have a greater appreciation of what it can mean.
