Our Leaders Are But Trusted Servants

The week before I became eligible for parole, I started getting nervous. No one knew if I would be sent back to a federal penitentiary in Texas to finish the four years I still owed them there, or whether I would be paroled onto the streets. I wasn't overly concerned with being taken back to Texas--I knew how to live in prison. My anxiety was about returning to the real world!
