Three Years Tomorrow
A cake? Coins at the end of the meeting? A speech? Accolades from friends and sponsors? Perhaps. If I make it through the rest of today without drinking, tomorrow I will celebrate my third anniversary in sobriety. This is indeed a joyous time for me. But it is also (and oh how I hate this word!) depressing. It's a double-edged sword. Welcome to the Day Before My Anniversary.
