A Hole in the Bucket
One of my first AA buddies used to say that his AA bucket had a hole in it, and that's why he tried to get to many meetings to keep his mind focused on his alcoholism. He reasoned that as long as he was at a meeting, going to a meeting, or coming from a meeting, he was probably pretty safe.
