It is with great reluctance and an element of deep sadness that I am cancelling my subscription to the Grapevine. Over the years of my sobriety I've made sure to buy and read every issue, collecting them for future use. It was something of a tradition for me to have an issue for every month of my sobriety. All the way through, from the first issue I had the money to buy (May 1971), I have been an avid and daily reader of the Grapevine. In fact, I've made it a part of my spiritual exercise every morning before leaving the house. It is a part of the fabric of my life.
