"A Dubious Luxury" in the December 1991 issue was right on the money for this alcoholic. From the time I was a young kid I got the message that anger was a terrible emotion so I learned to suppress it and in turn I became depressed. It's taking me a while, but thank God, I'm learning that anger is just one of the numerous feelings that I will "feel" for the rest of my life.
